The Chariot Cabriolet is amazing. The freedom it has given my family is outstanding. Before this smooth ride with ample safety features came into our lives we had to walk or borrow a car to get ourselves around. Now we just hop on our bikes, bundle up the boy and we are off. Great for rides to Church or the farmers market. My son likes it so much he sits back and sleeps on longer rides, which is great for mom and me.
The safety features are what sold me on this specific trailer. The padded shoulder harness,comfort for the boy at the best especially as he grows and will not want a piece of nylon webbing rubbing up against his neck like with other types of trailers.
The ball and socket trailer hitch are ingenious.
I looked at other models whose hitches were no where near as safe. With this model, I can lay the bike down and the boy can continue to sleep without tipping over the trailer. Hopefully this will never happen, but it is nice to know that my boy will be safe if I happen to wipe out.
Chariot also make other more expensive models, but this one specifically got me excited because it came with the bike hitch feature as part of the purchase price, and not a add on buy.
Basically, my wife and I are really impressed and overjoyed with this purchase.

First of all the Cabriolet comes withthe bike hitch attachment with is awesome!

My son is five month old and fits into the smallest helmet, so we ride legally in California which is the biggest issue for my wife's and my family members. We also have him in his baby car seat strapped into the trailer. Now we know that this is not what Chariot has meant to do with its carriers, yet it works and we feel that he is that much safer.

In looking for the right trailer, we sought out one that could roll with us everywhere from church on Sunday to heading to the farmer's market. For our family, bikes are our main form of transpertation, and this trailer seems to be well built and was up and ready to go as soon as I placed the hitch on my bike. The install could not have been easier and I believe that this trailer is sure worth its weight in gold.

As our son grows, I look forward to strapping him into the unique padded shoulder harness that reminded me of a five point race car seat belt with I believe that our son will be safe and happy to sit looking out at our wonderful world...
