- Breathable, abrasion-resistant synthetic leather and nylon mesh uppers are lightweight and flexible for comfort; thermoplastic urethane overlays provide structure and support
- Gore-Tex® waterproof liners let feet breathe while protecting them from the elements, keeping them dry and comfortable
- Nylon linings absorb excess moisture and disperse it for fast drying; protective toe bumpers shield toes and uppers from abrasion
- Padded tongues and collars add comfort and relieve pressure from lacing
- Reflective detailing increases your visibility in low light
- Removable dual-density EVA footbeds add cushioning

I've had these shoes about a month and haven't really broke them in yet. I use them mainly for the gym, and walking my dogs, and light hiking. I like the fit alot, not to tight, or to loose, and the length is about right for me. I wear a 13, and sometimes this size can either be to big or to small. Seem to be waterproof, and very comfortable. The only problem I've had so far is they have an annoying squeak, like the first reviewer said, kind of like passing gass. LOL. But like I said I got them on sale and so far so good. I like the color too. I have had several pairs of Vasque and like the brand a lot so far.

Really like these shoes...the only downfall was that they had this "plasticy" sound at first which made me nervous but ultimately this went away with use. Overall, one of my best everyday hiker shoes
