Comments about Primus FireHole 100 2-Burner Stove:
Sleek red design , compact mold , nice smooth feeling knobs, carrying handle , Starter , and the best of all a propane hose which is stored in a clip under the stove. The would allow your to keep some distance and allow a bigger tank !

Comments about Primus FireHole 100 2-Burner Stove:
Purchased for a car camping trip out west. Plan to camp in state parks or KOAs that have a picnic table set up. This will be easy to load, unload. We were sold when we saw that the fuel cord is integrated. No leaving at the camp or forgetting it at home. The small propane tanks are easily found at camp stores everywhere. Sturdy, boiled water in 3 minutes as advertised (on a VERY windy night). Can't wait for our first meal.
Note - some of the other stoves offer up to 50000 BTUs - we cook with gas at home and our hot burner is 12500 and that's HOT. I actually find the lower/simmer settings more essential for a good meal - and this can actually simmer without blowing out.

Comments about Primus FireHole 100 2-Burner Stove:
I have to say, all in all, this is a great stove!!! I've owned a Coleman two burner that I had to retire and wanted something a little sleeker with more bells and whistles. Voila! Primus Firehole takes the stage. This stove is well worth the cost. It goes from a nice simmer to blazingly hot...... boils water in record time and is a joy to cook on. Plenty of room for two pots with a sturdy grill. Easy set up and EASY to clean, REALLY EASY. Definitely a keeper, much nicer than my Coleman stove. I also want to thank the people at REI for being so patient, they let me return two defective units(Primus Profile) without any problems great great great service…………………………………I am a satisfied customer without buyer's remorse on this purchase.

Comments about Primus FireHole 100 2-Burner Stove:
I seem to have bad luck with stoves, we had one for over 10 years without problems and after it died we have not found a good one to replace it. We have so far been through 5 different ones this year and was hoping this Primus would be the one. It is bulky, but very stable. I started it up right away and it worked great so was excited. We took it car camping and by the 3rd day the igniter worked sporadically and then stopped altogether by day 5. Then only the right burner was working properly, the left had very little pressure despite a full fuel cannister. The other issues is the wind shields kept disconnecting if bumped and the hose for the fuel which connects from underneath kept snagging on things when packing in car - would have preferred it to be enclosed somehow to prevent this. I love the size of the stove as two pot/pans easily fit. It seems like a sturdy stove compared to so many that are flimsy, though was disappointed in the end.
