Comments about Wilderness Systems Ride 115 Sit-On-Top Kayak - 2011/2012:

Great for my uses; casual riding, fishing, cross-training/exercise, camping trips, river, lake.
Under 12ft makes it pretty easily maneuverable for me to access fishing holes less accessible to larger boats. Great exercise tool for upper body work, cardio, & muscle conditioning. Easy transport as well, no need for any kind of bed extender or roof rack (I drive a '10 Tundra regular bed). Water-proof storage is sufficient for day use, my small ice chest fits well in the rear bungee storage area.
Perhaps the best thing about my RIDE115 is the stability it has combined with the capacity(lbs). I am 5'10" 215lbs, it holds me and my gear which could surpass 50lbs extra like a champ! There is no water splashing up from the scupper holes even. I can paddle surf or cast my reel from a standing position fairly easily.
The only negatives I have are the weight; 76lbs can be taxing if you are moving it solo, & the seat back gets in the way of my life jacket. I have a medium backed jacket but even when I wore a high back jacket it still rode up a little (this problem could be a sizing issue, but I believe it does have something to do with the seat back). For me, these are small potatoes in the more grand picture of my liking to this boat...
I have had this boat for about a year...
    I LOVE THIS BOAT!!!
