Eureka Copper Canyon 6 Tent is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wonderful tent and great for tall people Me and my family (two parents, three kids ages 8,6,4) were going on our first family camping trip and needed a large tent. I'm 5'10 and my husband is 6'2 and one of my biggest bothers about camping is the tent is so low I have to bend over in the tent. I bought this tent mostly because it is 7' tall....and it is awesome!! I love being able to stand in the tent to walk around or change clothes or just to stand because I can now. I would recommend this tent for anyone looking for a roomy tent with a lot of height. There is a lot of room in the tent too. The tent is easy to put up and take down. It was super windy the first night and the tent held up great. My only criticism is that the tent didn't come with a ground cover/drop cloth and when I went back to REI to get a drop cloth, REI didn't sell the size that goes with the tent. I would rather Eureka increase the cost of the tent and include the ground cover/drop cloth with the tent. Or that REI stock the ground cover/drop cloth that goes with the tent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Car Camping Tent This is a great car camping tent. We took this out to Wikiup with some friends. It's easy to set up, probably took me about 20 minutes by myself. It rained all night the first night and everything in the tent stayed bone dry. The tent seems to have sturdy construction. The zip panels allowed for ventilation during the day, but zipped up tight at night to keep the breeze out. The zippers seem to get caught if you try to zip too quickly, but really no complaints. The tent was easy to disassemble as well. Great car camping tent!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tent We've only used this tent once, and so far have loved it! It was very simple to set up, three of us did it the first time, but I set it back up by myself at home to dry it out with no problems. The poles are very sturdy and strong. It rained a lot with much wind the weekend we bought and used it for the first time, and had no problems at all. One thing I would recommend, is to buy a tarp to put underneath it. All tents I've owned in the past, have had a heavy duty tarp bottom, but this one seems to have the same thin material as the rest of the tent. Seems pretty tuff, but a good 10x10 or 12x12 heavy duty tarp would help prevent tears or holes forming on the floor of the tent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product! I set up this tent right after I got home from REI. It was very easy for my wife and I to set up. It then rained and stormed for about 5 days straight. It is waterproof. Was worried about wind but, it held up great during the thunderstorms and wind gust that come with them. It has plenty of room for our cots and gear.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Eureka = Dry Let me start off by saying WOW. This tent was purchased to enjoy state park camping on the Eastern seaboard & I started in Delaware at Cape Henlopen. The Copper Canyon 6 goes up easily. I'm not the tallest gal in the world, but I had no problem getting this tent up in about 15 minutes or so. Despite the height of this tent (7 feet at center) I got the rain fly up without issue. The first night out, this tent stood up to a deluge; a giant thunderstorm rolled through and the rain just wouldn't stop. Zero leaks. Floor iwas bone dry. The winds gusted as high as 40mph, and this tent didn't flinch. The rain fly has built in guy lines on the corners which really comes in handy. It's worth mentioning that I seam sealed the tent, which helped. I would buy this tent over and over. Super comfortable, lots of space and good ventilation even when it's all zipped up. Most importantly, you stay dry in downpours. Buy it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from spacious and very easy to setup This tent is very easy to setup. I did it myself and camped in backyard. Haven't gotten a chance to put it in real use to test rain or wind. It is very spacious inside because of the vertical walls. I use cots so a little bit concerned about the feet. Used tennis balls to protect the floor. The tent is kind of heavy (about 26lb) but for car camping, it is not a big problem (the total weight of cots is heavier than the tent).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not A Good Tent Bought this to introduce the kids(4 and 2) to car camping with the wife before we break them into backpacking later. Very spacious interior; enough for 2 adults used to camping and two kids with large bedrolls/mattress wanting to move around. Not terrible to set up, for 2 of us who are avid hikers/campers/outdoors people. Poles were of inferior quality however, and we broke 2 while setting up/taking down. The second night out, we got some rain; a decent thunderstorm but not a deluge by any means. This tent began leaking within 10 minutes. At first I thought we had a window/door unzipped, but it turns out the windows and "rain fly" do not much of anything the combat the weather. The fly is tiny and barely covers the screen roof and overhangs the doors like a small awning. The windows actually CATCH WATER behind the screen and end up allowing it to trickle into the tent. Made for a mostly sleepless night as 2 sides of the tent had water infiltrating. Returned it promptly upon getting home. Would not recommend to anyone for any purpose involved with camping.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Heavy and leaks water!!!! I Bought this after the Marmot Limestone 6P Tent had disappointed us by it's lack of privacy design. Unfortunately the first time I used this tent It rained very Hard and water came leaking through the walls... the rain tarp doesn't cover much except the top and if it rains hard like it does here in the NW you really need more coverage than that. Also as I was taking it down one of the wires inside one of the support poles Snapped... I was shocked by it's shotty design and so now It's going back tomorrow.
