    The REI Member Dividend

The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.

Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.

Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Rated4out of5byfromEasy to set upI'm not one to write product reviews but must say I found this tent quite easy to put up by myself; first in my living room, then in an actual campground, though I probably wouldn't want to do it for just one night. I'm an old lady, 72, and rather klutzy. Happily, I don't have to return the tent on that account. I love that it's easy to enter and can get dressed while standing up! I am a little concerned about the flimsiness of the tent floor and wonder how long it will last before getting punctured.

Rated4out of5byfromNice Roomy TentI got this tent to replace an old 6 person tent that had developed some rips around the door. I chose this tent because 6 ft plus of headroom seemed attractive. Immediately after getting it, my daughter & I used it extensively during a month long camping & road trip. We found set-up to be easy & relatively intuitive & one person can do it under ordinary circumstances. The tent also kept us dry and comfortable through multiple thunderstorms. The biggest drawback of the tent is that the nearly vertical sides (that give you all that nice headroom) act just like sails when the wind comes up! So be prepared for a lot of flapping and other noise on a windy night & be sure to stake out the corners of the fly using the attached ropes.

Rated4out of5byfromexelentThis tent had gotten me through several adventures. Although it requires 2 people to set it up, it's very comfortable. My girlfriend and I have gone on 4 multiday car camping trips, and have loved it. Ventilation keeps it at a nice temperature during the day, we've never had a drop of water inside, and you can even stand up in in it. How annoying is it to put on pants in a tent? This totally fixes it. it weighs too much for hiking, but if you have a car to rely on, and enjoy comfort when roughing it, this is the tent for you. Although, if you're more than 3 people, I'd recommend the larger versions.

Rated1out of5byfromNot very GoodThis is very difficult to set up due to one of its best features, the height of the tent. Regardless of that the front door zipper completely came off on the very first day and it wasn't even pulled that hard. Had to return the tent and I am getting a better one.
