The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Sea to Summit Travelling Light Duffle Bag:
In an effort to help reduce my pack wieght I bought is bag to carry my food. I have used for about ten weeks of backpacking and for another four weeks touring on my bike. I love this bag, it can hold about 10 days worth of food, super light (6oz lighter than my old food bag). I do baby the bag. One of the straps tore when it got caught in a bear hang ( I was tugging quite hard), it was an easy fix. It may seem pricey, to spend $40 on a food bag but it is well worth the wieght savings.

Comments about Sea to Summit Travelling Light Duffle Bag:
I bought this as a packable travel duffel simply to carry home dirty clothes (vs. rerolling and repacking them nicely back into my carry-on), and/or make room for purchases in my main luggage.
I was a little worried about the durability of the Ultra-Sil fabric, but with just clothes in the bag it's handled the first trip through 3 airports without any issues. With my planned usage I'm not too worried about the bag getting tossed about, but I still have a concern about getting snagged on a conveyor, etc.
It really does pack up (fairly) easily into the size of a short coffee cup. That was my main reason for buying this vs. the REI classic duffel -- that one is great, but takes up five times the space of this one.
