Built to tackle short- to mid-distance training runs, Salomon XR Mission trail-running shoes offer all-terrain traction and excellent responsiveness.
- Breathable and abrasion-resistant nylon mesh uppers feature asymmetric synthetic leather overlays that wrap and secure insteps for a precise fit
- Quicklace⃨ lacing system with friction-free eyelets takes just a single pull for a perfect fit; lace pocket hides lacing away
- Protective toe caps guard against bumps and abrasion
- Foam insoles enhance comfort
- Polyester linings quickly wick moisture away from feet for enhanced comfort
- EVA midsoles isolate you from trail impacts, and thermoplastic urethane inserts provide a barrier against sharp rocks underfoot
- OS Tendon thermoplastic urethane frames run along the outsoles of the shoes to facilitate better heel-to-toe transitions and push-off efficiency

I originally thought the toe box was to roomy, then went for a trail run, and realized it was perfect. The sneaker works perfectly with the motion of the foot, and its adjustment to the terrain; smooth, supportive, and most of all comfortable. The quick lace is great for a quick lace adjustment in inclement weather, and doesn't suffocate your foot. Simply put, it is a great multi purpose sneaker best used for ALL types of trails, and some road surface as well...I love it!!

I've only used them twice. narrow arch/mid sole led to blisters. Used some blister band aids on second run, and everything else worked great. I really like the draw string shoe strings. They are really easy to use and convenient. I think it will be a durable shoe that will last. I plan to use these shoes on short and middle distance trail runs, but I'll likely add blister band aids to my archs to prevent blisters caused by the narrow mid shoe region.

These are great shoes, I went with a half size bigger than normal and that worked for me.
Sometime I weara sock liner.
These are great for walking, hiking, trails, streets,etc. Great and lightweight, good cushion.
It's hard to buy any other shoe that does not have the "Quick Lace" I don't like having to tie and retie laces.

The entire line of Salomon shoes now has my attention. This is the sixth pair I've purchased in the last two years. I like everything the shoe provides from support, traction, and overall quality. The speed lacing system works well and the styling is today. Great color options, too. When looking for a good mixed terrrain shoe, look at Salomon. They're great!

Why doesn't this store allow you to have personality with the sick colors these shoes offers? (I love this store otherwise) Why not add style to your life.
