I wore this jacket all over Peru, up on Machu Piccu where it went from chilly at dawn to burning hot a couple hours later. Light enough that it is not a hassle to tie around waist. Wore this also in extremely windy and wet conditions, near a glacier... loose enough to layer things underneath, but cut to fit a woman's body well. Many awesome pockets!! Tried on 20 jackets at REI before I found this one, definitely the cutest, but also extremely functional.

I just got this and have already gotten raves for the stylish cut. They darted a bit in the front and back to actually give a shape to a usual tube structure. I have wider shoulders than most manufactures think women have and normally have to shop in men's. This coat fit all my requirements: wide enough in the shoulders and with a feminine fit.
