      I bought the large for the back area of my station wagon to soften the floor for the doggies, and also to put a waterproof lining between muddy paws and the carpet. A great product that I'd highly recommend! I've even ordered another one, because I would so frequently find myself dragging the mat inside to use as an extra dog bed. I have an older dog with urinary incontinence problems, and the washability of this combined with it's being waterproof make it the perfect convenient dog pad.

      Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

        When I got this product, I was shocked by the weight...like it wasn't even in the box! I got it out, unrolled it for the first time, turned my back...and my Blue Tick Coon-Hound, Bailey, was already laying on it! Bailey was hit by a car when she was a puppy, so she has a metal rod in one of her back legs. Because of her leg, she has a hard time laying on the floor/ground. We got the larger size, which fits her perfect, (could almost fit another small dog on it, and she likes to sprawl out!) but it still packs up nice and tight. We use it at home, take it to our friend's homes so she can lay outside on the porch or ground, camping, and even lay it out in the back of the truck! Everywhere we go, her bed is there with her. I've got two other dogs...and they're jealous! Even in a dirty camp-site, the bottom is easy to dust off when it's time to roll up and move out, and the top is a snap to keep clean too. The pocket for treats comes in handy, but I find that unless her treats or toys are wrapped up in a baggie...she can smell them and tries to dig them out of the bed! Not a fault with the product at all, just something to keep in mind.

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
