    Comments about Liberty Bottleworks Lisa Rivas Haven Aluminum Water Bottle - 24 fl. oz.:

    Although these bottles are beautifully designed, their images crafted by independent artists, the bottles seem more interested in aesthetics than in functionality. For about two months I used this bottle for my daily work commutes. I returned it to REI this morning because the lid design (a "1/4 Turn Design") causes substantial wearing on the paint and metal of the outer lip. The wear, in fact, was so notable that I worried I might drink, along with my water, trace amounts of the paint chipping. I'm not the only customer to have noticed this either. A professional outdoorsy folk notes the same problem in a review titled "Looks Great, Lid Terrible": http://reviews.rei.com/review/799463/Liberty-Bottleworks-Lynsey-Dyer-Aluminum-Water-Bottle-32-fl-oz. Hope this helps!
