REI Members get back an estimated 10% on this item as part of their annual member refund.

    The REI Member Dividend

The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.

Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.

Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

by fromThe product does not work foe 1 day. I purchased a AA 16 Energizer Max pack yesterday and put 3 of the batteries in a home alarm system and only found 3 that were slightly on the green, but the alarm will not accept them. Why am I buying batteries that are suppose to be good for about 10 years and none of them are good for 1 day?

by fromDidn't last long in camera I bought these batteries for my digital camera, as I was taking photos of product to list online. After taking about a couple of dozen photos, the camera stopped working and showed the message "battery depleted" - I put in two more and the same thing happened. At this rate, it would be cheaper to pay someone else to take the pictures.

by fromthe best of the batteries on the market today Remotes, Toys, Flash lights, Small Appliances that run on batteries, just keep on running, way after the competitors battery. A battery you can count on all the time, not just part of the time.

by fromFrustrated My wife recently purchased a 24 pack of Eveready AA Super Heavy Duty batteries. I had asked her to get Duracell but she came back from the supermarket with these. I thought I would try them anyway. 4 were installed in to a Fujifilm Fine Pix 35mm camera. The previous photos were viewable, but when I tried to take a photo, the camera shut down. I had not used the camera for 4 months and thinking it may be faulty, took it to a camera house in Caringbah Sydney. The proprieter suggested I try another brand of battery, which I did. The camera worked perfectly. I then came home and tested this packet of 'new' batteries. Most were reading 1.45 V, one only read 1.59V and one read only 0.95V. The batteries have ED0915..on them. I do not have the receipt as I did not attempt to use them till 6 weeks after they were purchased. I have 20 of these below standard batteries. what is your suggestion I do with them ?.

by fromBatteries underperform I recently purchased the recharge unit and found the voltage after recharge to be unacceptable. After a second charge, the voltage after a 12 hour plus recharge was a measly 1.432V. In contrast, I tried recharging non-rechargeable Ray-O-Vacs and the charge soared to 1.582-1.62. This is extremely disappointing.
