The Novara 'Round Town pannier is exactly what I was looking for. I ride to the grocery store three or four times per week, and have been using the old milk crate zip tied to the back rack trick for some time. However, when I ride to work, I don't like to have the crate on my bike.

The 'Round Town is perfect, I can easily detatch the bag from my bike, and use it as my shopping basket, the built in handles make this a breeze. It holds more than enough groceries on all but my monthly staples restock run (might have to pick up a second bag for those trips). And the bag folds flat against my rack once I am finished.

The construction looks to be excellent, and I expect the bag to hold up for years.
