I absolutely love this hammock.Easy to set up, the only issue is it is a little heavy to take backpacking, but it still can be used if pack weight isn't too important or on a short trip. You won't regret this purchase.

This hammock is incredible, worth every penny. On a recent camping trip it was the first item unpacked as well as the last item taken down. Seven children total ranging in age from 5 to 14 gave it quite a work out. It claims to be able to handle loads up to 400 lbs and we can verify that to be true. After 4 days of intense play it still is in great shape. Unfortunately the hanging ropes (kit) that we purchased seperately did not stand up to the repeatitive swinging even when used per the instructions. Not a problem - simple to rig up something much more durable on our own. Highly recommend the hammock but skip the hanging system they also make if anticipating the intense useage children can generate.

I bought this for my boyfriend (and I) for his birthday. We camp in the Upper Peninsula quite often and absolutely love this hammock. We can't seem to find an uncomfortable arrangement no matter how we lay. It is big enough for both of us to wrap up in. The first time we used it, we fell asleep between two trees near the beach for 2 hours! If I had a pillow and blanket it would make a great bed believe it or not. I've since purchased two more and left them at my family cabin so everyone can enjoy. [...] my boyfriend was happy with the blue and silver so it was a success. I shopped around quite a bit and this is the best deal I could find at REI.
