Bought these as a replacement to some 5 year old Hi-Tec trail shoes. I wore the prior pair almost every day for just banging around not for exercise. The soles were still in great shape but the upper was splitting away so I figured time for a new pair.

The new pair is nothing like the old. The sole started to wear almost immediately. There were holes in them within 3 months of just everyday wearing them to work or to the store. I have a very low activity job as well so I would have expected more from them.

They are comfortable once you break them in, but by the time they're broken in, the sole is starting to fall apart so you have to replace them or risk wet feet. Might be different as a trail shoe.
