Rugged and refined, the Blundstone 550 boots are built for all-around comfort and boast premium leather construction to ensure lasting use and timeless, versatile style.

Premium oil-tanned, single-piece leather uppers with rounded toes are highly weather-resistant and exceptionally durable for lasting use
Dual elastic gores run down to the ankle and supply a personalized, snug fit; front and back loops make it easy to get the boots on and off
Leather linings offer glovelike soft, smooth comfort
Removable EVA footbeds are anatomically shaped to provide light, cushioning support
Injection-molded, dual-density polyurethane midsoles feature a shock-absorbing heel unit to reduce impact shock from the heel strike, enhancing all-day comfort
Steel shanks provide a rigid platform and reduce side-to-side flex, enhancing stability and support
Thermoplastic urethane outsoles on the Blundstone 550 boots feature a great all-around tread and are highly resistant to breakdown

Great shoe/boot for either casual or slightly dressed-up affairs. I've walked miles(literally) at a time in these boots and never got as much as a hot spot. The sole feels a kinda like a silicon/rubber combo which does actually bounce as you walk. They wear well, I've had em for a couple years and the soles show almost no wear. In the rain my feet have stayed dry.

Have worn these boots almost every day for the last five years. Wear in the field for work, then to a business meeting, out to dinner, literally everything. I treat with Nikwax every few months, water proofs against snow and rain. The Aussie's got it right with these boots.

Great product that provides both durability and style. They can be worn with a pair of jeans or to the office and perform equally as well in both situations. I added a pair of surefeet insoles and they are some of the most comfortable shoes I own.
