Comments about Komperdell Guide Antishock Trekking Pole with Camera Mount - Single - Special Buy:

When the description said "Use the staff as a monopod by unscrewing the grip to expose the integrated camera mount", I thought the handle would have a top section that is threaded to unscrew out in the field to reveal the tripod mount, but that was not the case at all. Two Phillips screws need to be unscrewed with a screwdriver and the whole grip slides off. Then to secure the grip back on, I'm not even sure anymore what the screws grip into; I think the pointed tip is supposed to secure use the threads of the tripod mount, so if I don't do it exactly right, I could mangle the treads and the tripod mount will be ruined!

I have no comment on this product as a trekking pole, but for the camera mounting ability, it does not come close to being useful.
