Designed especially for Tretorn's 120th anniversary, the Astra 120 Ar rain boots celebrate the modern galosh with practical fall style that pairs great with long pants.

Natural rubber uppers form a tough waterproof barrier to keep slush and puddles at bay

I am frequently use and wear these Tretorn boot for the nomal rain and poor showers and tear of debris of new york urban decay and waste.
They are far from perfect or reliable for a situation of a sudden nature disater,but they are for common day man or woman wantiing to go out and perpare for the harsh weathering can throw out at you, but always remember to clean out he boots of extra watering and human debris befor wearing the material for current potential use and senarios that come in your way.

I live in Portland so I know all about rain! I use these when walking the dog and around town. They're great! Very comfortable, not very nerdy. Can even wear them to work occasionally when the weather is really bad. Love em.

Nice shoes with flexible & comfortable feel. there is no arch support, but i actually like shoes without anyway. very easy to put on and take off, but the show runs about a half size large. i decided to keep them (large) to allow for thick wool socks and swell due to lack of breathability (waterproof). their ability to shed water (up to ankle height) and keep my feet dry was excellent.

about 5 weeks into daily wear, both shoes developed a crease where the shoe bends with normal walking. the crease eventually tore a slit hole in the material - first on the right shoe, then the left shoe. it is no longer waterproof at this point and i am quite disappointed the shoes didn't even survive a season.

additionally, i had a traction issue on chattahoochee aggregate surface where i injured myself, albeit mildly. not sure if this is the surface itself or the shoe's traction ability. it certainly made me doubt the shoe's ability to grip on other surfaces.

i am going to try a pair of Kamiks to see if they wear any better. unfortunately, REI does not carry the shoe i want.
