I wear size 7 and bought size 7. Felt a bit wield when put in on the first time. After test drive it a while inside the store, I found them actually very comfortable, plus the fur lining makes my feet warm. The rubber is made of good quality but not stiff. Fit is just right, don't feel clunky when I walk. Calf area is snug, but I can still tuck in my straight leg jean since I have slim calf. Wish it has a glossy finish like the Hunter's but ok to settle with the matte finish. Now I am hoping it will rain soon!

I've been coveting these boots but couldn't bring myself to pay the price. On sale, these boots are worth every penny. These are the first rain boots I've owned, and I live in wet, rainy, misty western Washington. Cursed with cold, wet feet day in and day out, I finally gave in.

These boots stand out from the rest with their thick, durable, and flexible rubber; the soft, warm lining; and the utilitarian style. These are a matte black, stand a full few inches higher than say, a "tall" Chooka rain boot, and fit much better. I wear a size 6/6.5 in most shoes and a 6 fit perfectly fine in the footbed with about an inch to go between my big toe and the end of the shoe. The tall part of the boot is a bit snug but fits comfortably around my athletic calves and I typically wear skinny jeans and Smartwool micro socks underneath.

The fur lining has so far been shedding a little (I've owned these for a lengthy 24 hours)and shows slightly above the edge of the boot. I don't mind it.

I can't speak to their longevity, but if REI sells them, I'm sure they'll last at least a few seasons. Definitely recommend.
