A true all-mountain rocker machine, the mid-wide Arbor Roundhouse RX snowboard is built to support larger feet, while delivering performance from peak to parking lot. Fits up to size 15 boots.

    • For intermediate to advanced riders, the Roundhouse RX provides the quickness and power you need for endless rounds of hard driving, all-terrain, mixed condition fun
    • Mountain rocker design offers reliable, all-aspect performance in deep powder, tight trees, technical steeps and carvable groomers
    • Parabolic rocker shape grips the terrain for maximum edge control; this means loaded turns, higher speeds and bigger landings
    • Grip Tech sidecut makes 4 points of contact underfoot for improved and direct edge control; contact points create heel and toe pivot points for faster, more efficient turning
    • Directional twin shape positions the rider directly over the Grip Tech contact points for effective edge activation and adds nose length for better float in pow
    • Rocker-specific flex pattern enhances the ride on this de-cambered board, easing turns, spins and presses
    • Forest Stewardship Council certified for sustainable production, this high-grade lightweight poplar core has 2 bamboo compression axles running tip to tail
    • These bamboo axles create compression struts that liven longitudinal flex without affecting turn or spin initiation and landing recovery
    • Sustainably sourced inlaid wood topsheet structurally enhances the board, adding return and durability, and reducing weight; plus, it creates a one-of-a-kind look
    • Mixed glassing (triax over biax) provides torsional forgiveness, board feel and edge hold, and performs best for general on-mountain and park riding
    • Topsheet features a protective ultrathin finish, made from a castor-bean-based bio-plastic, that guards against damage caused by loose bindings and unforeseen impacts
    • Board's core profile is slightly thinner and tapered in between the bindings to enhance mountain and park performance
    • ABS/urethane blend sidewall construction provides maximum durability and excellent edge control
    • With a high molecular weight, the wax-infused sintered base provides unmatched durability and speed
    • Steel edges are 60% recycled material and offer maximum durability and performance
    • Mountain Stance bolt pattern increases stance angles; you can ride a smaller board for versatile rocker performance without sacrificing setback options for powder riding
    • Arbor Roundhouse RX snowboard artwork by Joel Woodman
    • Snowboard deck and base colors may vary from online photo

Comments about Arbor Roundhouse RX Snowboard - 2011/2012:

Having just received this board, I have not yet had an opportunity to use it. It looks gorgeous and seems to be of excellent quality.

                Service and delivery comments:

Shortly after ordering this board (just over an hour later), I stumbled upon a different Arbor board (the Cascade, which is an REI exclusive) that I decided I liked better. I contacted a customer service representative and asked if I could cancel my current order and pick the Cascade instead. I was told that my order was "too far along in the shipping process" to be able to cancel. Really? In just over an hour it was too far along in the process?

Being told that, I expected to find that the board would be shipped by the next morning. It wasn't. The board didn't actually ship until over a day later. So much for being "too far along in the process" I guess.

I can't say I was very pleased with the shipping of the item either. Upon arriving home today, to find the box on my porch, one of the ends of the box was completely unsealed. It showed no signs of having had any packing tape applied to it at all, like the other end. The only thing protecting the board on that end was simply a crumpled piece of paper shoved in the box.

Immediately I decided to unpack the box and inspect the board for damage. Upon pulling the board out, I noticed that the board bag was not sealed either. Most of the top have of the board was completely exposed. Luckily after going over it thoroughly I did not find any damage. I suppose that speaks to the quality of the board.

Overall I was very dissatisified with my experience and would definitely think twice before ordering from REI again.

Comments about Arbor Roundhouse RX Snowboard - 2011/2012:

Awesome board. I used it all season in all conditions. Rocker design plus Grip Tech made it a Go-to board in deep powder(rocker) and those bad days with ice(grip tech).
I got to ride the new 2013 Arbor Rocker and LibTech Attack Banana and Travis Rice Pro. All 3 were awesome, the Banana felt most stable in all conditions.

I did get a ding like in week 2, I'm not sure from where, might have been early season with traffic on the slopes, but I didn't get anymore dings once the real non-man made powder arrived.
So I think my ding ( 1/2 inch gash to top wood) was a rare experience.
Either way a sharp looking board and price that should get you a year or two of hard shredding.

Comments about Arbor Roundhouse RX Snowboard - 2011/2012:

Beautiful board! Every time I'm out, someone mentions how nice it is. You do have to be careful so you don't damage the topsheet. I managed to chip the edge of mine the second time out.
