Great shoe especially at 50% price. It might just be me but they bother me under my ankle bone after a while. You might want a shoe horn to get them on with thick socks.

My wife bought these for me at a great deal. Full price would have been a great deal as far as I'm concerned. They are comfy and she says they are sexy! Gotta love that!!!

I was already a fan of Keen, but these are excellent. Really like the versatility and comfort. I use these instead of boots for urban terrain in winter.

I bought these for my husband for Christmas - he wanted a warm shoe he could wear in crummy winter weather. Unfortunately he has a narrow foot and these were way too wide and he chose to return them. They also looked extra funky(Keens are a little funky anyway) in a size 12.

Comments about Keen Brixen Low Waterproof Shoes - Men's:
I'm an avid bicycle rider. I always disappointed in the winter time because I can never keep my feet warm more than an hour. So I went to REI to try and resolve this issue. An employee recommended these shoes. After doing some research and reading the reviews I bought a pair. I bought a pair of "smart wool" socks to wear with them. I tried them out yesterday in the 30 degree Chicago weather and was thoroughly disappointed. After one hour my feet were just a cold as wearing my gym shoes. And after three hours it was it was worse. The shoes are comfortable and maybe good for walking in the cold weather but if you are going to use them for bicycling in 30 degree weather or colder, find another option.

Comments about Keen Brixen Low Waterproof Shoes - Men's:
I've owned previous Keen slip-on shoes and overall they've performed well. What's appealing about the Brixon is that the've added some warmth insulation for colder weather.
Also, It's alot more sturdy than one of my other Keen slip-on's (the Bidwell). It's also a bit heavier, but you get the extra warmth and support.
I really appreciate that Keen put in a waterproof, breathable membrane. It provides an extra layer of security in foul weather (walking the dogs, etc.) I also like the fact that they used their own proprietary "Keen Dry" instead of a Gore-tex membrane. That probably saves $30/pair and has the same functionality!
The outsole is also beefier than your typical Keen slip-on. The heel support is also nice, with a sturdier support system.
I also liked the insert which is lined with a wool blend for warmth & breathability. As the weather is cooling rapidly in the NW, I am finding this my go to shoe for casual use!
The Brixon runs a tad small, I think due to the extra insulation. (although it's not a full 1/2 size smaller than normal)
Overall, I'm very pleased with the Brixon!

Comments about Keen Brixen Low Waterproof Shoes - Men's:
In a way I gambled a bit buying this shoe specifically for winter bike commuting. I have been pleasantly surprised by the warmth and support this shoe provides while riding. With a polar fleece sock I was comfortable in sub 30 degree temps. I can't be sure if it's the insulation or just the fact that the leather is more windproof than any shoe I have worn in the past. The only issue so far is the difficulty putting the shoe on. It is very stiff and I should be using a shoe horn to make it easier to put on. Removing is a piece of cake with the shellback plastic heel that is Sorel-like in function. Of course if you clip in you won't like them but for an everyday cold weather shoe I think they are going to be great if the funky look doesn't put you off. Of course I may just be a fan of Keen shoes as this is my fourth pair.
