Comments about 686 Reserved Lust Insulated Pants - Women's:

Love these pants! I've only taken them out twice, including my first time on a snowboard, but they performed adequately. It was a warm day and the activity prompted me to open the thigh vents, but then as the temps dropped when the sun set, they were quite warm.

They remained comfortable all day long and looked good enough to be seen at the lodge bar afterward. The thigh pocket was great for holding all sorts of things without being too bulky.

As it was my first time, I spent a lot of time on the ground, and one particularly hard landing (fall) popped the top snap open. Perhaps I had the side tabs cinched down too tight, but I might add a belt to help with the fit at the waist a bit. I would not opt for a smaller size, however, because I wouldn't want to sacrifice the maneuvering room.

The gaiters did their job admirably to keep snow out of the bottoms, and I'm looking forward to purchasing a 686 jacket with a snow skirt that will hook into the loops on the pants to prevent snow going down the waist.

All in all, I'm very happy with the performance and appearance of these pants.
