      I have always loved a sit on top kayak because if you flip over you can just hop back on. The Mysto is the easy to carry and maneuver out of the water, and very stable in the water.

        What a dream boat. Excellent on a wind blown lake or a lazy river. I have a bad back and can't sit for long periods in a comfy chair, but this is a different beast all together. First real time out in it, FOUR HOURS STRAIGHT fly fishing and another hour of just recreation paddling. Planning an all day trip soon.
        Cuts through the water like knife and turns on a dime, for a sit-on-top. Also, the most stable V-bottom I have used.

          It was the Mysto or a paddle board. We live on the ocean and I wanted ocean fun and exercise. The Mysto is very stable making entry, even in waves, easy and the seat, footwells are comfortable and allow some position changes. I am 6ft. 3in. and 215 lbs. The boat tracks into waves with the tri-hull and keel and it is also stable running across swells. The kicked up tail does catch waves and gives a little ride. Tracking on calm water is good and improves with paddling technique. Speed is not equal to a 15 ft. enclosed kayak but is a function of paddling ability.

          Scupper stoppers are a mistake on ocean waves because you will take on water, and plugged scuppers means water sloshing in the seat, cargo area, and foot wells.

          Still may try a paddle board but will keep the Mysto.
