I got these boots for christmas and have worn them hiking around muddy slopes on our property. Haven't used them in the extreme dead of winter for shoveling snow yet though, but they seem real nice and insulated and I wore them in Tahoe in the off-snowboarding time. I liked them because they don't have the annoying ties or zipper that some others have. The only bad thing about that though is that they are a little harder to get on, but not enough to bother me. I wear a size 7 normally and they fit a little snug with my thick winter socks on, but I'm keeping them anyway as they seem to be getting better the more I wear them. Easy to wash off and completely waterproof!

Love the boots, they are comfortable and keep my feet dry and warm. Expect to get many years of cold weather wear out of them. Went up a 1/2 size to accommodate heavier socks in the winter.

I feel that these are pretty heavy but I'm not used to snow boots quite yet having just moved from Oklahoma so take of that con what you will. They are really warm and comfortable. They just feel really heavy when I have worn them for most of the day.
