Comments about Kokatat Lightweight Gore-Tex Paddling Suit - Men's:
I've used my paddling suit a lot since I bought it in May 2012. I bought it mainly for packrafting. I chose this suit over the heavier Kokatat GFER because I wanted a lighter suit for backpacking/packrafting trips. I am 6'1" 175 with a 33" inseam and this suit fits me well, with some room for layering. The large weighs 2 lbs 7 oz. The only possible downside is that the neck is neoprene so it doesn't seal out water like a latex neck seal would. I was aware of this when I purchsed it, and after taking a couple swims and some long days paddling I prefer the more comfortable neoprene neck. I never got more than a few drops in the suit. As far as breathability is concerned, I put on wet socks one morning inside the suit and wore wet shoes. Within a few hours my socks had dried. Great for sea kayaking as well.
