        I bought one of these for my son, my grandson and my husband. All three like them for wearing as part of a layering system, outdoors in cool weather (perfect Seattle gear), or indoors because we keep our home cool in winter. The blue is a rich, beautiful color that everyone liked.

          Looks good? Check. Fits well? Check. Warm? Check. Light weight? Bingo. Inexpensive? You betcha.

          Why 4/5? No zipper garage when fully zipped. It's a small detail but significant to me. It doesn't look as finished and allows the zipper to get caught in my beard scruff.

          I do appreciate the drawcord hem. That is a nice feature that you rarely see now.

          Would be a 5/5 if it had the aforementioned zipper garage.

            I managed to snag this after Christmas, I needed something I could wear as a middle layer without overheating. The vest fits well, to the point where you will forget you are wearing it. I find myself wearing it around the apartment often enough that I keep my thermostat a few degrees lower to compensate!

                This vest is great for an additional layer over my shirt at work. It provides the extra warmth needed for Eastern Washington winters, but breathes well and doesn't get too stuffy. The fleece is soft and the collar not overly obtrusive like one of my other vests. A great option for when a second layer is needed, but the activity doesn't justify a full jacket.
