The Waterbox Square water bottle brings a new shape to your lineup of beverage containers.
- Made of Eastman Tritan™ copolyester, the bottle is completely BPA-free and is dishwasher safe; bottle is recyclable at the end of its long life
- Tritan™ copolyester provides excellent impact resistance and is suitable for both warm and cold beverages; bottle won't retain tastes or smells
- Square shape fits comfortably in your hand; bottle resists rolling if it tips onto its side
- Round bottom allows bottle to fit in most drink holders
- Opening accepts ice cubes and drink mixes
- Cap is made of food-grade polypropylene and soft rubber for a sure grip; asymmetric shape of the cap makes it easy to screw on and off
- Cap creates a leakproof seal with the bottle
- Carry the bottle via the reinforced finger loop or use the loop to clip the bottle to a backpack strap with a small carabiner (not included)

What really caught my eye was the great design. Not only is it square and will not roll off/down whatever surface you've laid it on **unlike every other water bottle on the market**, and the lid has such a comfortable and well-designed finger hole you almost forget you're carrying something around. Lid is also durable and has a rubbery, no-slip surface, and Waterbox will replace it for free if you lose it. Bonus!
Lastly, it's got a respectable .75 liter capacity without any bulk, and much easier to clean (and SEE if it's clean) than those metal bottles. Great for day trips, the office, wherever.
I have several. I'm tempted to get a few more.

I've had my waterbox water bottle for a few years now. I have experienced no leaking. It is plastic though so if you drop it, it probably will break as will anything made of plastic.
There are no odors/strange tastes at all but I only use it for water. I can't speak to what would happen if you use it for other beverages.
I liked this particular bottle because of the unique design. Just a little different than the rest.

I've had some bad experiences with this water bottle since my previous review.
- I have had the lid come loose several times. When this happens all the water drains steadily into/onto whatever surface is in the way.
- I have noticed some odor and taste (other than water) associated with the bottle...
- Just this morning, my water bottle bit the dust. I accidentally dropped it onto a concrete sidewalk from about chest height and the entire bottom of the bottle shattered (yes, shattered!)
Waterbox has a cool design and I really like the lid. It seems that they simply chose the wrong kind/quality of plastic.

I've had this water bottle for about 6 months now. It goes everywhere with me. I take it to work, school, hiking, backpacking, camping, you name it! The lid really caught my eye in the store. It fits in my hand like it was meant to be there.
The only drawbacks I've had (if you can call them that) are that the bottle perspires if I put cold water in it and it is a little small for all day or weekend hikes.
