The Singing Rock Guru climbing harness has the features you need for trad climbing and alpine adventures.

Comfortable fit and perforated foam padding in the waistbelt and leg loops treat you right on hanging belays and long routes; abrasion-resistant fabric withstands regular use
Slotted adjustment system lets you fix the free end of the waistbelt strap in a position that accommodates your waist size and minimizes the movement of the padding
Prethreaded Rock and Lock buckles at the waist and leg loops adjust quickly and easily while maintaining the correct double-back configuration
Adjustable leg loops let you add layers for cool-weather climbing and are droppable for quick entry/exit while wearing crampons, plastic boots or skis
Front belay loop is red to catch your attention when clipping in your belay device (sold separately); tie-in points are reinforced for increased durability
4 gear loops provide ample space for gear; rear haul loop makes it easy to attach a haul line
Slotted design in the waistbelt of the Singing Rock Guru climbing harness lets you insert a carabiner (sold separately) designed for racking ice screws

I bought this harness to replace an aging alpine harness. I liked how light the harness is, but after wearing it for a few climbs I noticed the following problems:

- The leg looks are thin and uncomfortable to hang in for a long time
- The harness doesn't center on my body. After adjusting it the arrow/haul loop on the back was always off to my right. This caused the harness to constantly want to turn on my body. Very uncomfortable and annoying. I immediately returned this to my local REI.

If you are looking for an inexpensive, comfortable and lightweight harness look elsewhere.

I bought this because I needed a harness and it was on sale. This was the first time in probably about 4 years that I've had to buy a small sized anything (I'm 6'3" and not a "small" size), but this one simply fit the best...
I haven't taken it outdoors yet, but I'm sure I will in the spring.

takes a minute to get used to the leg loops but after that cant ask for a better harness ive went thru several harnesses and once i found this one i bought three more in case this one ever wears out. i have had it for a few years years and other than gear discoloring the loops it still looks brand new no frays or ripps very tuff harness
