The REI Member Dividend

The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.

Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.

Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

by fromDoesn't make that much of a difference I was really disappointed with my insulated tube. Especially for[$]. I havn't noticed that big of a difference in it keeping my water unfrozen during winters or cool during summers. If anything, it makes the tube harder to store and I end up having the entire length of the tube hanging out so if I want a drink I have to fetch it. It makes it so stiff and the tube is way to long to properly manage. It's also a pain to get in the backpack - you have to disconnect it from the bladder and then reconnect it every time to get the bladder in and out.

by from80 Degrees, not so much I used this with a 2L Platypus Big Zip reservoir. It was simple to install on the bag. You have to buy a clip because all you get is a hose. I used this on a 7 hour day hike in 80 degree weather. I had my 2 liter Platypus bag in the refrigerator a day prior to the hike to make sure the water was cold. I could tell a difference in the water temp compared to the standard hose. The difference was only slight. Maybe around 20% cooler. So, the water was still warm... If Camelback didn't make you buy extras and charge a lot I would have rated it higher. It'a just way to expensive for using in hot weather. Maybe it's better in freezing conditions.
