        Great Fit, but i do recommend you get a 1/2 size up! I'm a 10 (43.5) and had to get a 10.5 (44)for a perfect fit! Great on the trails and also great on the treadmill in the gym.Lasportiva should sell more gore-tex trail running style shoes in the USA. These were a little pricey but worth the price for the waterproofing, lightweight,traction,style and fit!

          I use these shoes strictly as day-to-day shoe around town. It rains a lot here, and between dog walks, riding a bike to work and the occasional slow winter hike I needed a waterproof runner with good traction. This is an excellent option.

          For trails and backcountry I usually wear a more minimal shoe with little support. The extra cushion on these Wildcats is perfect for me on concrete and other urban terrain. Since I'm not sweating a lot in these shoes I can't say how breathable they are but they are as waterproof as any other shoe.

          The lugs on the bottom provide excellent stick, but wear fast on hard surfaces, as I expected. Strictly on trails these shoes would last much longer for me, but nonetheless I'm very happy and would buy them again in a heartbeat. The toebox is wide and the lacing keeps the ankle snug. The upper seems VERY durable given the abuse I've put on them in town.

            I love these shoes! I have run and scrambled in these in snow, rain, and HEAT; so far they have exceeded my expectations. Theses shoes are tough, they make you want to seek out the mud and snow. The toe protection has also kept me from atleast one broken toe. They have handled 4 Fourteeners including a PR on Longs Peak, up and down in 9 hours!! They are a trail shoe...not pavement. Dont waste the traction on concrete and asphalt...or treadmill. I will buy another pair for this season.

            I've used these shoes every day leading hikes through the North Coast Redwoods. I've tried similar brands and models such as the Solomon XA comp and North Face Hedgehog. I blow through shoes quickly and despite the rough, daily use these shoes are bombproof. More durable than Solomons, better fit and lighter than the TNF shoes I've tried. LaSportiva's heal cup is excellent and adds stability to the lightweight runner as well.

            Three gripes that leave little room for improvement. If they're wet, they lose traction on anything that is not pavement or dirt, i.e. roots, rocks, and the worst are man-hole covers. Second, they leaked at the seams of the footbed in one shoe but this was not noticable with wool socks. Finally, these are the first shoes I've realized get REALLY hot...but what do you expect with Gore-Tex shoes.

            All told, these shoes are the best I've tried due to stability, durability, versatility and good looks.
