Comments about Royal Robbins Nox Jeans - Men's - 2010 Closeout:
I've been searching for a new pair of jeans for quite some time now. All the modern styles I find are too tight in the hips/butt/crotch, and too loose in the waist. I do a lot of cycling and squats, so I need the room.
These jeans accommodate my butt and still fit snugly around my waist.
Most of my day is spent sitting at a computer, so seated comfort is critical. The gusseted crotch means less tightness in the crotch, and no thick seam pressing into your parts.
These jeans run a little smaller than other brands I've tried. I fit in a 34 Nox, a 33 Levi's, and a 32 Calvin Klein.
As for looks, the rear pockets look kind of like utility pants, so I'm not thrilled about them. The color is a nice, dark denim wash, not the more vibrant blue I've seen on websites. Overall, they look much better in person than I had expected, but not as good as top fashion jeans.

Comments about Royal Robbins Nox Jeans - Men's - 2010 Closeout:
Nice comfy pair of jeans, quickly became my favorite pants. Not nearly as stiff as traditional denim jeans and the cut is pretty nice. Vintage color is great.
I did have an odd issue with the 32 waist being really tight around the thighs/butt but a 34 waist being surprisingly loose by comparison. (I ended up returning the 32 and buying a 34. I normally wear a 32.) I was a little shocked at the difference between the two, as the waist size doesn't usually change the rest of the fit THAT much.

I have both colors. I live in Indy, so climbing is done at a gym. Nice jeans to stop in and climb for a while, then continue with the day. Not going to be as comfortable as prana stretch zions; but good for jeans.

great stretchy jeans for climbing. durable enough for crack climbing but comfortable when reaching for moves. look fine for wearing into town as well
