Comments about Novara Forza Road Bike Shorts - Men's:

My reference is a previous model of novara shorts (732727) which were fantastic. They were not gel, but were 10 panel. In comparison these shorts have thinner fabric, providing less muscle support. The chamois pad is not as comfortable. Those may be fine entry level shorts, but if you're an avid cyclist you should look elsewhere.

Comments about Novara Forza Road Bike Shorts - Men's:

Another reviewer apparently has not compared these shorts to other [$] shorts, because they compare pretty well. The pad is comfortable; I would not want it to be any thicker. I also own P.I. Quest 6 panel shorts, and these are more comfortable for me. Also, I'm XL and not skinny, so many shorts are too long, or almost too long. These are sized more like shorts were 10 years ago - 1 to 2 inch shorter leg inseams at XL - and are better for me than most current shorts. These are entry price point shorts, but this non-entry cyclist (>35,000 miles) who cares about value thinks these shorts are pretty good.
