The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about Weehoo i-Go Trailer Bike:
My family was on vacation on Mackinac Island and we rented the Weehoo for the week to get around the island. My son is 6 years old and 55 pounds or so and both my wife and I no problems using the weehoo with him. It made getting around the island a dream.
I have an tag-a-long trail bike, but this was so much easier to control. The Weehoo was practical for longer rides due to stability and comfort. The storage was great for jackets and our pick nick lunches.
I love the fact that the child is safe and getting exercise too. Way to go with this one REI! We are ordering one today:)

Comments about Weehoo i-Go Trailer Bike:
Last year on the same day our daughter showed us she could stick her feet out of her trailer we saw a couple riding with a Weehoo. What a great idea, especially for long rides – let the little one sit back and be secure rather than balanced on a seat. If she gets tired and wants to nap she can. Definitely going to need that!
And so this year we got our Weehoo – and it is truly amazing. Our daughter wants to ride on her own, but at 4 and a half she just isn't big enough for a real weekend ride on her own. The Weehoo however is just fine with her. As she said when she saw it – "WOW, is that for me? "
As she climbed in the first time she said – "Oh this is comfy!" And that is easy to believe. Nice attention to details of padding and construction overall. Thoughtfully, velcro connections look to permit removal of pads for cleaning. The enclosed chain ensures no surprises from snagged laces or clothing, Pedal straps keep her feet in place (even if napping) and the chest harness is easily adjustable and she can snap herself in safe and snug – and of course she tucks her water bottle in either side pocket. The storage pouches offer ample room for extra cloths and snacks. The seat adjustment for leg extension is very easy, and she had was giggling with glee peddling backwards to demonstrate the fit.
We took it out yesterday for our first ride of the season and a short 16 miles along the Platt River was great. A trail that we have ridden many many times, my daughter this time was shouting for joy, saying hi to everyone, saying hi to ducks and geese, and again and again telling me how much more fun this was then her trailer. Hard not to smile and laugh with her too. Her little feet were driving her pedals every time I looked back on the way out.
As I am well over 6' my bike is a bit taller then most so the connection to the seat post does change my balance – but this won't be as great an issue for my wife's bike and I will get use to it. Yes the sturdy construction makes it a bit heavy, but as a triathlete I have been hauling my daughter as training weight since she was old enough to safely ride. A nice cruising speed is very doable.
Though our former two wheel trailer was narrow, the Weehoo being directly in line with me makes me feel a lot safer as well. Truly a great investment in family fun and togetherness – and we are looking forward to many wonderful Weehoo rides and adventures.

We asked around quite a bit before purchasing this bike trailer. We weren't sure if it was worth the investment. We only heard consistent feedback that everyone loved it once they bought it. Now I'm an avid fan too. [...] Just finished our 1st ride with it and my 4 year old and it was a blast. I wish I had a mountain bike (rather than my Schwinn) so I could go up more hills (really hard to do without gears!). But the performance was terrific and my son giggled and pedaled the whole way. He felt safe and secure, as did I. It is a terrific product for our family.

My four year old loves it. My two year old's legs are still a bit short to pedal but she straps in easily and digs the joyride. I had a non-standard seat post size so called Weehoo & they resolved the issue quickly and easily. The customer service was really fantastic, a rarity these days. When I take both girls out, I use a double bike carrier, but when just cruising with one of them, this trailer bike is the best. I wonder how it would work behind a tandem bike.

Comments about Weehoo i-Go Trailer Bike:
Amazing product!! We have been searching for a bike for our special needs daughter whose legs don't bend very far. This was what we would have invented had we had the chance. It is supportive, sturdy and with some adjusting with the pedals (she won't help in that area) it fit our 8 year old perfectly (she is on the smaller side). We even have plans to adapt it further as she grows. The local REI folks spent time with us discussing options and helping fit it for our daughter. We took it for a spin as soon as we got home and she giggled and "talked" all the way...she is nonverbal. Weehoo thought of so many things: storage, foot straps (we thought we were going to have to add those), encased chain, ease of hooking up onto the bike, and down right sturdy. We can't wait to share this bike with our friends with typical kiddos too.

I have a three year old, last year he was in a bike seat that he quickly out grew. He loves riding but at his age I get no excerise if he rides his own bike (cause he goes too slow) , and he gets no excerise if he rides in a seat. The Wee-hoo solves all those problems!!! WE LOVE IT! He can petal as much as he wants, or as little- he petals the whole time! It is easily manuvearable and so adjustable. Totally worth every cent!!!

Comments about Weehoo i-Go Trailer Bike:
After realizing our mountain bikes have just become decorations in our garage I decided to try to find something that would enable us to ride our bikes again with our almost four year old. Last year in Germany we tried out the bike trailer and our son hated it. He complained of being hit in the face with rocks and that he was hot. It seemed to us his complaints stemmed mostly from being isolated. We then tried the Ibert handlebar seat, but it would only work on my husband's bike and pedaling was difficult. By pure accident I came across the Weehoo when searching the REI website. I read all the reviews as well as reviews on other websites and the feedback was nothing but positive. I convinced my husband to try it. We received it on Thursday and after several bike rides (if you build it they will use it) – we can say without regret we "love it!" Our son enjoys participating by pedaling (at 3 ½ he can reach the pedals) and because it is open he seems to feel a part of the biking experience. What really sold us on the Weehoo was the fact your child can ride this for up to 75lbs! We also like that we have been able to enjoy long bike rides and not worry we will have to stop when he gets tired – if he does he just takes a nap! I love the 5 point harness seat and all the storage options. We try to make very smart purchases and I feel this is one of the best we have made. We are looking forward to enjoying our long term love relationship with the Weehoo.

If you think your biking life is over after having kids, think again. I had been an avid mtb cyclist for a long time. Then, kids came along and with that time in the saddle decreased as you would imagine.
Not anymore. I've finally found the cure to enjoy my favorite sport AND spend time with my son. The activity has been rewarding for everyone. My son gets to go out, enjoy the day and get some daddy time while I get to exercise. He enjoys it very much, singing and saying hi to people on the trail. I just wish there would be a little more pedaling from my partner but I'm sure he'll get on to it soon (he's only 3).
My only cons would be the weight. Unless you have help from your child, going up anything steep is very hard. I'm sure it is much easier once they start pedaling but until then, it takes a good amount of effort to get it going.

We tried the Weehoo on vacation, and fell in love. Our daughter used to ride along in a loaded Burley chariot. Then, she got behind the pedals of a Weehoo.... NO MORE riding, when she can sit up and pedal! The team @ Weehoo clearly put their energy into design and functionality. If your little rider wants to pedal, great! If they get tired, the special gear design allows them to rest and you keep going. The seat is comfortable, and the design makes towing a breeze. No more worry about gauging distance between obstacles. If you fit, the Weehoo follows right behind. We use the saddle bags for snacks, water...even towels and bathing suits! The Weehoo was clearly designed for mobility and family fun. Assembly is quick [...] Don't pass up an opportunity to own one of these unique trailers! Enjoy and Ride Safe.

If you want to put a smile on your childs face buy one of these!!! They are a ton of fun. I haven't had any issues with the weight, and the added peddling of the little ones is a big plus on the hills.
They are a little costly, but do to the fact they are so adjustable that they cover a large age range, it will be a long time before my kids out grow it making it a great investment.
I've had kids ages 18 months to 9 years old on it and they've all loved it!!!
It seems to be very well thought out with lots of safty features and lots of storage, my daughter particulary like the sippy holder.
There is only two cons I've had with it:
1- My 2 and 4 year old fight over who gets to ride it and who has to ride in the Chariot with their little sister.
2- Every time I pull it out of the garage every kid in the neighbor hood wants a ride!
