      This is exactly what I was looking for. I don't like bulky weight when I am jogging or hiking and I also tend to go when it is not miserably wet out. I just need something to keep the junk out of my shoes and socks. I got mine a little to big thinking I would wear them over pants, but I have actually always had shorts so I wish I would have gotten the small.

      I love that they are easy to get on and off, and lightweight so if I decide mid-hike I don't want them anymore I can toss them in my bag and it is no extra weight.

        I was second guessing these gaiters because of the dual locks you have to stick to your shoes. I went for it and tried them out. I've put on a lot of miles on them so far with no problems with the gaiters or dual locks. The lightweight, stretchy and breathable material is awesome. They stay in place with only an occasional adjustment. The product comes with an extra pair of dual locks but I also found them at my local [...] and they worked just as good on other shoes. I placed dual locks on Merrell Reflex, La Sportiva Wildcat and New Balance trail runners. Overall the gaiters did their job and I have been very satisfied.
