The Arbor Cascade is built for riders who readily transition from 1 terrain or riding style to another. This snowboard is only available at REI and features artwork designed by Dan Burns.

Comments about Arbor Cascade Snowboard - 2010/2011:

I was nervous about using a reverse-camber board where I live because I knew I'd be dealing with a lot of ice and hard-packed/man-made snow. However, I fell in love with the design of the Arbor Cascade and eventually gave in and picked up the 157; I couldn't be happier that I did.

Arbor's GripTech has given me 'no' trouble whatsoever on the ice. It handles like a dream. I was also a bit worried that the mid-soft rocker board would give me chatter at high-speeds, but, after six times out, I haven't had any issues when bombing runs. I've also found that this stick has a good amount of pop to it although I don't know if the core is actually poplar/bamboo as the specs page seems to suggest. I'd assume that the 157 might be a bit large for some people in the park (though I'm sure it could still hold its own), but I've found the flex great for butters and presses while freeriding.

The only negative point I've found is that I did get a couple of dings and small gashes on the topsheet pretty easily, but that's bound to happen anyway... It's just a shame on such a beautiful board!

Needless to say, I highly recommend this board. I'm so impressed by it that I've actually (and unintentionally) turned into a bit of an Arbor fanboy. Happy shredding.
