Comments about Polar Insulated Bottle - 24 fl. oz.:
Doesn't stand up to Florida heat. Filled it with ice and went for a quick ride, all the ice was melted within 30 mins by 45 mins the water was tepid.

Comments about Polar Insulated Bottle - 24 fl. oz.:
Was looking between this and camelbak's bottles. The made in USA sticker on this bottle sold me. I have another Camelbak and like it, but this one is just as good, if not better, and proudly supports our workers. Would buy this again over [*] :) Buy it.

Comments about Polar Insulated Bottle - 24 fl. oz.:
I have 4 of these things at home and use them nearly every day. I have had them for a few months and they work great. When you first buy them, its hard to squeeze but once you use them for a few rides, they get more flexible. They keep water cool for at least an hour, depending on how hot it is outside. If they had a bigger one I would definitely buy it in a heartbeat.

Comments about Polar Insulated Bottle - 24 fl. oz.:
I've used the Polar 24 oz. bottle exclusively for long bike rides since buying it two weeks ago.
The bottle works as advertised--it keeps cold liquids cool significantly longer than a standard plastic bottle. I find this particularly important when drinking sports drinks, which are much more palatable and easily absorbed when chilled. It imparts no discernible plastic taste to water or sports drinks. The insulation also has the added benefit of reducing/eliminating condensation on the exterior, making it easier to hold and keeping the dust and dirt off. I (easily) removed the carrying loop since it interfered with my legs while pedaling, and it is unnecessary for cycling anyway.
It is stiffer than an uninsulated bottle, so I find that I have to squeeze it from the bottom section to get optimal flow.
Overall, an excellent design. I plan to purchase several more Polar bottles to replace my uninsulated bicycle bottles.

Comments about Polar Insulated Bottle - 24 fl. oz.:
I cycle shorter distances during the week, usually min 20 miles, and take a single bottle along on such trips. The problem is that living in Las Vegas I'm often cycling in 95f - 105f temps and my fluids can be close to boiling after just a short time. I was sceptical that such minimal insualtion would really keep my fluids cool but I was wrong. As a test, I packed two bottles, polar and a usual aluminium, filled with ice cubes and topped with cold water. After 40 mins, a halfway point of a usual route, I checked both bottles out. Aluminium bottle contained warm water. Polar bottle still had large cubes of ice and was ice cold! After 1hr 20mins returning home, the Polar bottle still had ice. If I'm on a longer route I'll use my osprey camelback but for short routes this works great.
Only gripe: The bottle is difficult to suck fluids from, best to hold at the bottom and squeeze.
