Comments about Marmot Precip Full-Zip Rain Pants - Men's Short:
I heart my Precip jacket, so the pants seemed like an obvious choice. Oh, how wrong that was.
The full zip seems like a good idea but in practice it's a total pain. The natural thing to do is unzip both sides to about the knee, but then you end up chasing the corners of the pants while you're trying to put it on.
The waist band doesn't have nearly enough grab, if you have anything on your belt the little velcro tabs you get aren't going to hold.
The zipper eats the interior layer, trying to put these on in a hurry (the point of the full zip if I'm understanding correctly) is a disaster. The interior layer also makes them bulky. Pulling them on over normal trousers leaves me feeling bound up and overstuffed. And they're still sweat factories so the mesh is useless anyhow.

Comments about Marmot Precip Full-Zip Rain Pants - Men's Short:
Comfortable and easy to get on and off, with good zippers from ankle to hip. Fit well and easy to move in, kept me nice and dry for a long day out in the rain and cold. Double taped sippers kept the wet outside.

Comments about Marmot Precip Full-Zip Rain Pants - Men's Short:
Snow shoeing, and back packing in NorthWest, Good Venting, light weight, and leg length are good. The velcro will fail when pulled at waist - turning and twisting at waist, or bending over

Comments about Marmot Precip Full-Zip Rain Pants - Men's Short:
Tried these on today for the first time on a snow shoe hike - had high expectations as I love my precip rain jacket. I found some shortcomings - the velcro tabs on either side of the waist are not sticky enough - and so when you bend over - to pick up a pair of gloves that have fallen down for example they come apart and pants fall down. These tabs are also nearly useless to adjust how tight you want the waist. There should be good snapping tabs and a different way to cinch the waist. I also found two other shortcomings - The elastic waist band is not taut enough and the cut is not very athletic - so climbing up down boulders the pants start riding down. My guess is they would work well for a casual stroll. These are the only full zip pants I have found in a short inseam - I might try with suspenders - if not - regretfully they might have to go back
