These are as comfortable as running shoes but look good enough that I wear them to work all the time. Very comfortable, and I have foot and knee problems, so really comfortable indeed.

I was looking for a versatile pair of shoes that I could wear to work with khakis and anywhere else with jeans. With these shoes I could go from a shop meeting to the trail with no stops in between. The soles are sturdy and comfortable and the main part of the shoe hugs my foot like a glove. It's snug, but doesn't feel like it's there. They're comfortable right out of the box. I put them on as soon as I got them and worked a 14 hour shift right away.

The only thing that's not quite what I expected is that the front part of the shoe has kind of a flat, unfilled look to it in relation to the rest of the shoe. It almost looks like it's too big, but it fits just fine. It's just a complaint, it's just something to be aware of. I noticed this with my Merrell Gloves too, so it may just be the way Merrells fit my feet.

Overall, they're fantastic and my new favorite shoes.

I bought these shoes to wear all day from walking the dog ,to hiking then on to the routine of the day. After wearing all day, my feet do not hurt. It is a great shoe from morning to night.
Do not expect to do a major , rocky hike in these shoes but for flat, moderate windy trails, they are great. Just wish it had more style..but then who can have everything in life?

I was immediately drawn to these shoes for the versatility it would provide. I wear them to work, on the trail and the only shoes i need when traveling. I've had them for over a year and they still look and few new.
