Comments about Nikon Monarch ATB 8 x 42 Binoculars:

I got into Hawk Watching a few years ago, and wanted to get good quality, mid priced binoculars to replace my bulkier, cheaper ones. After quite a bit of research, I felt that the Nikon Monarch 8x42 was the best product for my price range.

They haven't disappointed in the slightest. I get crystal clear images of various features on raptors (i.e. wing markings on a golden eagle, the red head of a turkey vulture). Additionally, they are lightweight and just "feel right" in my hands. They've also been handy for spotting closer objects, and I've used them occasionally for astronomical purposes while sitting on my deck at night. Highest recommendations!

Comments about Nikon Monarch ATB 8 x 42 Binoculars:

I bought these binoculars two years ago and love them. I use them mainly to view wildlife and scenery. I've taken them hiking and bird watching in Peru, watching wildlife in Denali park in Alaska and to Yellowstone, among other places. The optics are sharp and bright, and the rubber extenders on the eye pieces work really well if you wear glasses.

    Service and delivery comments:

I had the binoculars delivered to the store, and they arrived in excellent condition.
