The Sigma BC 1606L DTS computer serves the needs of the most demanding riders, especially those who ride at night—and it's wireless!

  • Digital radio speed sensor works without the need of a wire running between computer and fork—a great look for a lean, mean speed machine
  • Computer features current, average and maximum speed readings, an odometer, trip distance, a stopwatch and a clock
  • Provides a programmable trip section counter and countdown timer
  • BC 1606L DTS also tracks the total accumulated distances of bikes 1 and 2 added together
  • Total values for time and distance are hidden while you ride, allowing you to focus more easily on functions necessary to the ride
  • Plus, with Cadence and Bike 2 Sensor accessories (sold separately), you can monitor rpms and track total time and distance for a second bike
  • An integrated storage chip prevents the loss of settings and total values during a battery change; low-battery indicator alerts you to make the change
  • Backlight offers optimal readability even after nightfall

Comments about Sigma Sport BC 1606L DTS Wireless Bike Computer - '09 Closeout:

This is by-far the absolute worst bike computer I've used in the 15 years that I've been a cyclist. We own 3 of these computers - and after 1+ years of use... not a single computer works properly... and that includes changing all the batteries in each component of the system. The problem is that the computers just stop picking up signal regularly. The signal that is picked up is done on a very intermittent basis. I'd strongly encourage anyone looking into a Sigma product to look else where. For what it's worth - my wife also owns a Sigma heart rate monitor - which works as poorly as their bike computers.

works great for about 6 months, then randomly decides to stop functioning. this has happened for the last 3 units i've had- (returned the first two when this happened). would recommend if they were more durable

Comments about Sigma Sport BC 1606L DTS Wireless Bike Computer - '09 Closeout:

Bought one and at the beginning it worked fine, then after a month or so it stopped working. I think it has to do once it gets wet or is exposed to humidity.

I thought it was just a bad batch or drained batteries. Installed new quality Energizer battery, and decided to buy another unit to be used on my other bike. The same deal, after a month or so it stops reading the signal from the cadence and speed sensor. Same deal, new batteries, even swapped units as I get two now and still same problems, works whenever it wants to, half way on bike rides sometimes works cadence, others the speed, waste of money, junk.

Once again, bought another unit BUT the wired model, works everytime. The Sigma is a quality unit ONLY if you buy the WIRED model, stay away from the wireless. The wired Sigma cyclecomputer is on my MTB, it takes a beating, it even has a cracked display and still works.

I have had good luck with this product on my mountain bike. In fact, I liked it to the point that I put one (with the cadence sensor) on my road bike...still performing well after two seasons.
