The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about REI Cohere Wrap - 2":
This stuff works great, it has a lot of uses. I had never thought about it as a blister prevention, but I will keep that in mind. This stuff is great for securing gauze and bandages to wounds. You can also get a little pressure from it to help stop bleeding. It sticks to itself and not to skin so you don't have to worry about moisture or sweat deteriorating the adhesiveness. This is a great addition to any kit.

Comments about REI Cohere Wrap - 2":
I've tried half a dozen different options for blister protection--moleskin, athletic tape, duct tape, extra socks, etc.--and this is hands-down the best. It doesn't leave goo on my skin, it's fairly breathable, and most importantly...it won't sweat off. I can't get moleskin to stay put for more than about 3 hours on a hike, but a good wrap of this stuff will stay in place for an entire 3-day expedition.
Basically, I just wrap all of the "hot spots" on my feet with this stuff, ensuring that I get at least two layers of wrap over the hot spot, and I'm pretty much blister-free. I find that I tend to use up about half of a roll for each foot.
