The REI Member Dividend
The REI dividend is a unique benefit of membership in the REI co-op. It's comprised of your member refund—typically 10% back on eligible purchases—and/or your REI Visa® card rebates.
Each March, active REI members and REI Visa cardholders who earned a rebate receive a refund in the form of an annual dividend notice.
Only active members receive annual dividend notices. To maintain your active status as an REI member, you need to make net merchandise or shipping purchases of at least $10 per year, unless you joined that year. Member numbers are issued in one name and only that person receives the member refund. Your number can be used by others in your family, but it cannot be transferred to someone else.

Comments about REI Day Pack First-Aid Kit:
Great basic first aid kit to have just in case for any bag or car! The kit is well organized, compact and already stocked with essentials. There is also enough room to add more items to customize it for your needs.

Comments about REI Day Pack First-Aid Kit:
I have several first aid kits for a wide variety of uses. I thought I'd try this due to REI's usual quality. Was disapointed, the case is very flimsy and everthing falls out of it, it doesn't lay right. The supplies a decent enough but the case is totally horrible. For the same money go for a serious first aid kit from adventure medical, who's bags are the best going. This is just a super cheap, basic kit to strap to a kids pack. I ditched the pack and split up the goods to other kits. First REI item I didn't care for.

Comments about REI Day Pack First-Aid Kit:
What a neat little pack! It's as notable for what it packs in a small package, but how it can be expanded. There's enough extra room that I added a couple more 3x3 gauze pads, a 2" gauze roll, a roll of 1" paper tape (it has a 2.5yd roll of 1/2" tape, but I prefer 1") and some more Benadryl (only has 1-25mg tab; many adults do better w/50mg), Aleve (it has 2 Motrin) and aspirin. It's packed for basic needs to cover someone for several hours until help available. The only other thing I'd like to see in it is a small magnifying glass.

Comments about REI Day Pack First-Aid Kit:
I purchased this item for a recent climb up Mt. Whitney. It fit perfect in my REI Flash 18L summit pack and came in handy when the hiker in front of me piece his calf with his boot crampon. I was able to quickly pull out the kit and deal with the wound immediately. I supplemented the kit with more moleskin and tape. It has plenty of room for any additions your particular trip may need. I'm next going to take it in the car for our family vacation.

Comments about REI Day Pack First-Aid Kit:
Searched for a small first aid kit with enough extra space to pack in a few more things. Added nitrile gloves and a few extra meds, and still have room to spare in the pack. Good enough for my simple trip needs.

Comments about REI Day Pack First-Aid Kit:
A first aid kit really is what you make of them. If you're looking for the perfect size kit that comes with all of the basic essentials but plenty of room to add a few things to cater to your specific needs, then this is the kit for you! I love the individual pockets inside the kit, makes for easy organization.
