      Used the Victorinox Travel Sentry Combo Locks when travelling through Nepal and Africa as well as on domestic air travel. Personal combination is easy to set. TSA agents checked bags numerous times during flights and locks were still on and operational after arrival.

      These locks were used on my camp bag when travelling through Nepal and up and down Kilimanjaro. They kept the contents of my duffel secure as they were carried by porters and on the backs of Yaks. Haven't tried any other locks and don't need to. These locks performed flawlessly.

        Used this when traveling through several countries in Africa. Initally I found the lock difficult to set as the instructions and images in the instructions didn't match up with the actual process for resetting the lock. Once I figured it out I thought I was good to go. The locked worked well for the first 3 weeks of my trip, then unexpectedly wouldn't unlock. I ended up asking the hotel I was at for assistance. Within 30 seconds a hotel employee pried the lock open using a basic srewdriver. Seems like this lock is only good for keeping me out of my luggage.

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
