NOT TSA COMPLIANT

This lock is over priced junk. It is NOT TSA Compliant as the description says. The manufacture mirrored the keyway so a TSA007 key doesn't work, so you can't lock your gear up when you fly. The "lock" can also be opened with practically anything, all matador keys will open it, or anything like a paperclip, screwdriver, or tensions bar that allows you to press the center spring loaded pin while rotating the keyway will open it. Thats maybe not a big deal since its supposed to be relatively insecure since its supposedly compatible with the common TSA007 key, but embarrassingly this is the one thing that won't open it, which defeats the purpose of the product entirely. I would give this 0 stars if I could.

Better to buy a screw gate carabiner

The word lock anywhere near this is an overstatement. This has a single spring loaded pin that can be opened using a paperclip or a thumb tack. If you can push on the pin, you can open this carabiner. Please do not use this to secure something that will not remain near you. If you want to make sure no one runs up and grabs something off your pack, this will do the job. At the same time, a screw gate carabiner will also do the job at half the price. I bought this because I was curious about the security claims and it does not disappoint in generating laughs.

Not TSA compliant

the lock states that it is TSA compliant, but it is not. at the airport a TSA officer showed that the TSA master key doesn't fit in the lock... the lock appears to be made backwards... make sure it's unlocked if you are using it on a checked bag.

Inverted Lock - TSA Keys DO NOT Work

The lock is inverted and will not accept the TSA key its numbered for. It's garbage and look elsewhere.
