The GoLite Utopia 1 freestanding ultralight tarp shelter is a minimalist's dream-come-true for 3-4 season backpacking and mountaineering.
- SiLite™ silicone-impregnated ripstop nylon canopy is extrememly lightweight, durable and weatherproof
- Hydrophilic thread expands when wet, sealing the seams and eliminating the need for liquid sealant
- 8 ft. x 2.5 ft. base and a 3.5 ft. peak height are designed to accomodate 1 camper and their gear; tall, zippered door and 3 full-length side vents provide excellent airflow
- Floorless design saves weight; bathtub-style floor is sold separately
- DAC Featherlite® aluminum poles are lightweight and strong; 2-pole design offers easy setup
- Internal rip-and-stick tabs hold poles in place while preserving the sleekest wind profile possible
- The lowest internal tabs are sewn to the shelter's external (reflective) guy loops to maximize the entire structure's strength
- Includes 2 poles, reflective guylines, 6 Y-stakes and stuff sack
- Average minimum weight specification is based on shelter and poles only
