Compartment sizes offer flexibility: large main compartment holds enough clothes for a week long business trip, the outer zipper pocket holds a 15" laptop, and the smaller outside pocket is handy for a magazine or to slip your ziplock of liquids for easy access at security. I wish that there was a handle on the side to make it easier to carry up stairs or for getting on/off the rental car shuttles. I like that the brown color is dark enough to mask dirt/stains, but different enough to make it easy to spot when I do have to check it.

Comments about REI Inside Passage Wheeled Luggage - 18'':

Was looking for an 18" roller bag to use for on international business travel. This has fit the bill perfectly.

It is small enough to fit in overhead bins, but it still holds a weeks worth of business-travel stuff (2 pair of slacks, 5 dress shirts, a couple of casual shirts, a couple of ties, dress shoes, under-cloths, a blazer, a rain coat, toiletries).

Best of all, it "looks" small ... which means it does not attract the attention of overly zealous boarding agents.

The grab-handle on the bottom is a nice touch.

The only thing I would change is ... the liner is too small. I ended up un-zipping it so that I could pack under-cloths between the handle rails.

Have made three international trips with it, and am very pleased with it's size and practicality. I'm a little concerned about it's durability, but we will see about that.
