Comments about Serfas TL-ST Seat Stay Rear Bike Light:
I found this light on the road, so it obviously doesn't stay on bikes well. The jellylike strap and case does seem a bit too soft and the LEDs are all pointing different directions. But it's quite bright and I guess if you cable tie it to your bike, it might be good.

Comments about Serfas TL-ST Seat Stay Rear Bike Light:
I bought this because of the great strobe flash and high visibility this light has, but was really disapointed in the quality after mounting it and taking it on one ride on a paved bike path with my son. Right after we started my son looked at the light an told me that it was hanging by just one strap. I had mounted it on my seatpost, and sure enough one of the straps had already broken. I stretched it to the 2nd notch and continued riding. A few miles down the road and sure enough the the next strap broke. After i got home I took a better look at it and can see this thing will not take any type of moisture at all, the silicone cover just stretches over the circuit board for the LEDs. I owned this for less than a week and took it back foor a Planet Bike light that hasn't failed me yet. I would stay away from this light.

Comments about Serfas TL-ST Seat Stay Rear Bike Light:
I bought this light because I needed something that would attach to my rear rack. I couldn't use the seat post mounted styles because my trunk bag would block it from view. I attached this to the support bar of my rack and have had zero problems with it. I was amazed at the brightness of this thing, and I love the many flash sequences it offers.
I've ridden with it on smooth pavement, across RR tracks, grass, and other bumpy and uneven surfaces with no issues with it coming loose. The silicone-rubber coating is more than enough to hold it in place with just a little tension from the straps. Just don't over-tighten the straps and I think everything will be okay.
All in all, a great light with great visibility.

Comments about Serfas TL-ST Seat Stay Rear Bike Light:
I've had two of these for about 3 months so far. I commute 3 days a week by bike and haven't had any issues with these falling off. The mounting is versatile, so I can strap them on the seat stays or seat bag or my backpack in seconds. Then, can easily remove them at home for weekend daytime rides or to share them with my wife for her commute. No scratches to the frame. Also, blinding bright lights that are very visible. I've put mine on/off of my bike and my wife's bike about 10 times a week for months and haven't had any fatigue on the silicone straps.
