Comments about Grand Trunk Uinta Quick Set 4 Tent - Special Buy:
I have used this tent 2 times this year. Setup is always a breeze. I just got back camping from Oregon with this tent and it was raining for 24 hours non stop (however, it was dry inside). On the side note, I think I did not install the tent correctly. This tent comfortably fits 3.5 people, not 4. Overall, this is a good tent for the money. I got it from [...]

Comments about Grand Trunk Uinta Quick Set 4 Tent - Special Buy:
I bought this because I needed a decent sized 4 person tent that didn't cost too much. I have other tents for backpacking but needed a larger one for pure car camping experience (yes I have kids!). The set up was incredibly easy and fast, so kudos to those engineers. The interior space is large and the price is definitely good for the space you get. The vestibule is also large and has a ground cover built into the vestibule keeping dirt off your gear and out of the tent.
However we had a relatively windy weekend over memorial day weekend and the tent was repeatedly collapsing even with the guy ropes tied out perfectly. It's not like we were on an exposed mountain top either. We were relatively sheltered by trees and a large rock at our campground.
I will continue to use this tent but honestly the flimsy nature of the tent is disappointing. I'm all for easy setup but I would sacrifice some of the ease of setup for more sturdiness.

Comments about Grand Trunk Uinta Quick Set 4 Tent - Special Buy:
I've been camping for years and i have used every kind of tent out there, but this is by far the easiest tent i have ever used. The set up is so easy 1.unfold the legs 2.pop together the center, 1 minute total. a couple minutes longer if you want the rain fly on(which is just as easy to put on). The best part, take down just as simple. Where was this tent every time I broke down camp in the Rain. Great Buy!

Don't buy this unless you want to wake up with your tent collapsing around you. Seemed like a good idea for car camping but it is just not a secure system.

Comments about Grand Trunk Uinta Quick Set 4 Tent - Special Buy:
I have used this tent a ton since I got it. It is incredibly easy to set-up, the majority of the time I am getting to campsites in the middle of the night and it literally takes 1 minute to get this tent set up. You gotta be careful when setting it up and taking it down because the built-in rods are not too flexible. If you are looking for a good backpacking tent definitely do not get this tent. It is wayyy to heavy and bulky to carry on the trail, that is unless you are only going a couple miles. It is perfect for car camping though, the fly works great and it is incredibly comfortable. It is not the strongest of tents; I had in in Moab last year and we got hit by a big windstorm right after we set the tent up and it completely got blown over. Overall great tent for casual camping.

Comments about Grand Trunk Uinta Quick Set 4 Tent - Special Buy:
I love this tent. It is the first tent I have ever purchased and I am beyond thrilled.
I have used it twice - both weekends were rainy and the tent never leaked.
The tent is so easy to set up - you push two poles together and boom! it's up. Take down is just as easy.
I love the little mat on the exterior of the tent - it was perfect to leave our shoes outside so we did not track too much sand/water/mud into the tent and the rainfly covers that area! So no worries about your shoes getting wet.
I do not like that the only windows are on the top of the two side walls. When you put the rain fly over it, then there is really no way to see outside - but if the rainfly is not over the tent then there really is no privacy. That is my only complaint.
