Good fit for short rides; much longer shorts provide full coverage (ie. no butt hanging out). The padding is minimal but on flip side lighter material is better for breathability. A little chamois butter helps control the itch from the elastic around the thighs. I like the baggy shorts because the spandex is not just a flattering look to me, hate that it looks like you have a diaper on underneath when the shorts are all spandex.

Terribly designed shorts. First off, the Large I ordered is more like a small. Secondly, the back is not cut high enough, so there's not good coverage when you sit on the bike seat. Third, the front pockets bunch up. Didn't anyone test ride in these shorts before they mass produced them???
