Great until it breaks

I loved this suitcase at first. It is small, but it is a great size for a carry on bag so you don't have to pay for a checked bag. Also, the bag is expandable, so you can expand it, stuff a bunch of stuff in, close it, then zip the expansion zipper to compress your things to fit in an overhead bin. Unfortunately I didn't find the external compression straps to be very useful.

The problem is, I only used this suitcase 3 times on 3 flights and the expansion zipper broke at the corner from being shoved in an overhead bin. It seems like a bag that's clearly designed specifically to be carried onto an airplane would be designed so the zippers aren't right where they experience severe wear and tear in an overhead bin.

I'll definitely be returning or exchanging this one if they let me.
